Duties

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on hotel infrastructure including HVAC/R systems, electrical panels, plumbing, elevators, and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair diverse systems using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and precision measuring instruments.
• Operate and maintain specialized equipment like scissor lifts and hydraulic systems to facilitate repairs at various heights and locations.
• Manage maintenance requests efficiently using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, schedules, and asset histories.
• Perform welding (including <LOCATION> welding if applicable), low voltage electrical work, high voltage troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs with precision.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards by handling high voltage systems safely and adhering to electrical codes.
• Support field service activities by responding promptly to urgent repair needs across the property.
• Collaborate with the engineering team on projects involving schematics interpretation, system upgrades, or new installations.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and safety checks for audit purposes.
• Assist in training staff on basic maintenance procedures or safety protocols when necessary.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest or staff maintenance concerns professionally and efficiently.

Experience

• Proven experience in industrial maintenance within manufacturing facilities or similar environments with a focus on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or HVAC systems.
• Strong knowledge of industrial mechanics, schematics interpretation, troubleshooting techniques using analysis skills with tools like ammeters or ohmmeters.
• Hands-on experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial electricians’ tasks, low voltage systems, high voltage safety protocols, and industrial electrician experience is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management is preferred.
• Skilled in welding techniques including <LOCATION> welding; experience in manufacturing or industrial settings is advantageous.
• Knowledge of HVAC/R systems including troubleshooting and repairs; certification in HVAC/R is a plus.
• Ability to operate scissor lifts safely while performing maintenance at elevated heights.
• Experience working in a manufacturing facility environment with a focus on industrial maintenance practices.
• Strong analysis skills for diagnosing complex system issues quickly and accurately.
• Military background or experience in field service roles can be beneficial due to discipline and technical training background.
• Excellent communication skills in English to collaborate effectively with team members and vendors.
