Overview
Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Maintenance Engineer, where your technical expertise and proactive approach will ensure our property operates smoothly and efficiently. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of hotel systems and equipment, creating a safe, comfortable environment for guests and staff alike. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical wiring, plumbing, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related to building automation systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), hydraulics, and low/high voltage electrical systems.
- Use schematics, technical manuals, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to diagnose problems accurately and efficiently.
- Operate industrial tools such as welders (including <LOCATION> welding), scissor lifts, ammeters, ohmmeters, and precision measuring instruments to carry out repairs.
- Conduct safety checks on high voltage systems and ensure compliance with all safety protocols; respond swiftly to emergency maintenance requests.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, parts inventory, and equipment status using CMMS; prepare reports for management review.
- Assist in field service operations by providing technical support for manufacturing or industrial equipment when needed.
Experience
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance within manufacturing facilities or similar environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in welding (<LOCATION> welding preferred), hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and industrial electrician work.
- Familiarity with schematics, control systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and industrial electrical components including high and low voltage systems.
- Experience operating field service equipment such as scissor lifts; ability to work at heights safely.
- Knowledge of maintenance best practices in manufacturing or hospitality settings; experience with CMMS software is a plus.
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical issues quickly.
- Strong customer service orientation with clear communication skills in English; military background or industrial mechanic experience is advantageous.
