Hotel Maintenance Engineer, Part Time

Overview
Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Part-Time Hotel Maintenance Engineer, where your technical know-how will keep our hotel running smoothly and efficiently.

We are looking for someone to cover our lead engineer's days off and also collaborate with lead engineer on larger projects and tasks. Typical schedule would be Saturday and Sunday (8am to approximately 3:30pm).

This would be a great position for a maintenance-savvy individual looking for part-time weekend work.

Duties

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on guest rooms.
• Respond, address and correct any guest-reported room issues.
• Respond, address and correct any team member-reported room issues.
• Maintain pool and hot tub

Skills

• Basic knowledge of plumbing
• Basic knowledge of painting
• Basic knowledge of repairing drywall through to finish
• Ability to be taught and learn new skills
• Ability to hold friendly and upbeat conversations with guests in an effort to smooth over any guest frustrations regarding room issues needing attention.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
