Duties*

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC units, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair various facility issues using schematics, technical manuals, and your mechanical knowledge.
• Conduct residential painting projects to maintain the property's aesthetic appeal.
• Operate tools such as welders and ohmmeters to diagnose electrical problems accurately.
• Manage facilities maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing repairs, electrical wiring, and welding as needed.
• Use Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to log work orders, track maintenance activities, and schedule upcoming tasks.
• Supervise or assist with subcontractors or team members during larger projects while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Maintain a high level of customer service by addressing guest requests promptly and professionally.
• Read schematics and technical diagrams to troubleshoot complex systems efficiently.
• Lead small teams or supervise maintenance projects to ensure timely completion with quality standards met. Header*

Qualifications*

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or handyman roles within hospitality, manufacturing, or residential settings.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals.
• Electrical experience including troubleshooting with tools like ohmmeters; familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus.
• Skilled in welding techniques for various materials; experience with residential painting is desirable.
• Knowledge of CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
• Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate effectively with team members and vendors.
• Supervising or leadership experience in maintenance projects is advantageous but not required.
