Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Hotel Maintenance Personnel to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all hotel systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical wiring, and mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related to electrical systems, plumbing fixtures, HVAC units, and other building infrastructure using schematics and technical manuals.
- Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to manage building automation systems efficiently.
- Conduct welding and residential painting tasks as needed to maintain property aesthetics and safety standards.
- Use tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to identify electrical faults and ensure proper functioning of all systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Supervise or assist with facilities projects, including supervising team members or contractors during repairs or upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies during all maintenance activities.
- Respond promptly to guest or staff maintenance requests to ensure minimal disruption.
- Assist with manufacturing or custom repairs when necessary to support hotel operations or special projects.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance, electrical work, mechanical repairs, or related fields within hospitality or residential settings.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by familiarity with schematics and technical manuals.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical troubleshooting tools such as ohmmeters.
- Skilled in welding, residential painting, and general repair techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward guest interactions.
- Supervising experience or leadership skills are preferred for team coordination roles.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities is advantageous.
- Good communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes or large-scale facility operations is a plus.
