Hotel Maintenance Tech/Groundskeeper

Help maintain our hotel’s operations and appearance to the high standards set forth by management and Hilton to ensure the ultimate guest experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Perform all assigned tasks, including, but not limited to,

Understand and perform basic construction projects necessary in the hotel for upkeep such as cleaning ptac units, shampooing carpets, painting, sheetrock repairs, minor plumbing and electrical repairs, and servicing daily guest tickets for room repairs which may include toilets, TVs, PTACs, furniture, sinks, phones, lighting, etc.

Sweep or mop front pedestrian walkways as necessary and ensure carport and front entry remains with pleasant curb appeal. Dispose of trash and clean out cigarette containers. Ensure all public and exterior areas of hotel are swept and trash free as well as all trash containers in those areas are emptied and clean. Power wash the carport, entry walkway, and exterior building as needed. Daily pool and spa cleaning and maintenance.

EXPECTATIONS: Follow all safety guidelines. Greet all guests with warm, friendly welcome. Projects and assignments are completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care. Be able to work under high pressure conditions and have the ability to learn new tasks, work well with others, be dependable and manage time wisely.

QUALIFICATIONS: High school or equivalent education preferred. Must have own transportation and live locally. Schedule Must have 7 days a week availability, with potential for either AM or PM shifts. Must be available to work weekends and holidays as well.

Experience One year maintenance, groundskeeper, construction labor related required.

Prior hotel experience preferred but will consider the right person with the right attitude and work history.
