Duties

• Conduct routine inspections of hotel facilities, including electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and structural components to identify potential issues before they impact operations.
• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks such as electrical wiring, welding, plumbing fixes, and residential painting to ensure all areas are safe and visually appealing.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and facility diagrams to accurately diagnose problems and execute repairs efficiently.
• Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot electrical systems and automation controls within the hotel infrastructure.
• Oversee facilities maintenance activities including supervising external contractors when necessary, ensuring work is completed safely and to standard.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for scheduling, tracking repairs, and inventory management.
• Lead small teams or supervise maintenance staff during projects, fostering a collaborative environment focused on quality service delivery.

Requirements

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field within hospitality, manufacturing, or residential settings.
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience; familiarity with schematics and technical diagrams is essential.
• Hands-on skills in welding, residential painting, plumbing, and general repair work.
• Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and PLCs confidently.
• Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and effective teamwork.
• Supervising or leadership experience preferred to guide maintenance staff or contractors effectively.
