Hotel Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Hotel Manager to lead our hospitality team and ensure an exceptional guest experience. As the Hotel Manager, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and uphold the highest standards of service and hospitality. Your leadership will drive revenue growth, maintain operational excellence, and foster a welcoming environment for guests from diverse backgrounds. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the guest journey while managing a vibrant team in a smaller hotel.

We proudly operate in a smaller west Texas community that is safe, and full of great people. Included in the pay is the value of the 2bed/2bath apartment that is on site. This job does not require sitting at a desk all day. You take the office phone with you and answer as needed. This job is great for somebody that works online, or is enrolled in college.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food, and guest services, ensuring seamless coordination.
  • Oversee daily operations such as reservations, check-ins/check-outs, and guest inquiries to deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Manage staffing schedules, conduct performance evaluations, and support human resources functions including hiring and training new team members.
  • Implement revenue management strategies to optimize occupancy rates and maximize profitability.
  • Maintain high standards of guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring guest satisfaction at every touchpoint.
  • Supervise night audit procedures, multi-line phone systems, phone etiquette, and front desk operations to ensure smooth communication flow.
  • Foster a positive work environment by providing leadership in hospitality management practices and encouraging team development.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols, health regulations, and hotel policies across all departments.

Qualifications

  • Good problem solving skills
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle complex guest relations professionally.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in supervising teams within a resort or hotel environment.
  • Knowledge of human resources practices including staffing, training, and employee development.
