Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures efficiently, ensuring a smooth guest experience.
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software.
- Conduct nightly audits of guest accounts, ensuring all transactions are correctly processed and documented in compliance with hotel policies.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries via phone or in person, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues with professionalism and care.
- Maintain security protocols by monitoring CCTV surveillance, conducting patrols of common areas, and controlling access to the property during overnight hours.
- Prepare shift reports, incident logs, and financial summaries to ensure accurate record-keeping for management review.
- Support guest services by providing information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and transportation options in multiple languages if applicable.
Experience
- Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment.
- Strong background in night audit procedures, guest services, and customer relations.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable to enhance communication with diverse guests.
- Excellent phone etiquette skills with experience handling multi-line phone systems efficiently.
- Demonstrated ability to manage hotel operations independently during overnight shifts while maintaining high standards of hospitality.
- Familiarity with hotel management software and basic accounting principles related to night auditing is preferred.
