Hotel Operations Maintenance

Overview
Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Operations Maintenance Technician, where your expertise will ensure the seamless functioning of our hotel facilities. This vital role combines technical proficiency with proactive maintenance to create a safe, comfortable, and inviting environment for guests and staff alike. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of hotel systems, ensuring operational excellence across all departments. Your energy and leadership will help uphold our commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences through well-maintained facilities.

Duties

  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair issues related to electrical systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and facilities infrastructure to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct welding, residential painting, and other mechanical repairs with precision and safety in mind.
  • Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to track work orders, maintenance schedules, and asset records.
  • Supervise maintenance projects, coordinate with vendors or contractors, and lead small teams during complex repairs or upgrades.
  • Read and interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose problems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and conduct regular safety audits to promote a secure working environment.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing maintenance requests promptly and professionally from hotel staff or guests when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance or hospitality maintenance roles with supervisory responsibilities preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience; familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable.
  • Skilled in welding, residential painting, and general handyman tasks to handle diverse repair needs.
  • Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams accurately.
  • Experience using tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting; familiarity with CMMS software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; capable of supervising teams effectively while maintaining positive relationships with colleagues and vendors.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes or industrial facilities maintenance is advantageous. CPO certified is beneficial
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to supervise projects and guide team members confidently.
