Hotel Restaurant Server, Weekend mornings

Shift Summary

Morning shifts are 5:30am to 1:30pm. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work Friday, Saturday, and Sundays. Candidates with other jobs must provide their primary schedule 10 days prior to the start of the weekly schedule.

Job Summary
As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have a memorable experience in our establishment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders Micros POS systems.
• Serve food and drinks promptly and efficiently while ensuring proper presentation.
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and other side work.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
• Handle payment transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math for processing payments.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards in all aspects of food handling and service.
• Assist with guest relations by addressing any concerns or special requests promptly.

Skills

• Previous experience in fine dining or restaurant settings is preferred, with knowledge of food service operations.
• Familiarity with Micros POS systems is advantageous.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
• Excellent communication skills for effective guest interaction and teamwork.
• Understanding of menu items required.
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is essential.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $9.00 per hour
