Hotel Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets within assigned market segments
• Proactively solicit new business through prospecting, networking, site visits, and industry engagement
• Maintain and grow existing accounts by building strong client relationships and ensuring repeat business
• Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, RFP responses, contract negotiation, and closing

Market Segment Focus

• Religious/Fraternal: Conferences, retreats, meetings, and recurring group events
• Education: College/Universities programs/conferences, Youth Competition
• Social/Competition: Dance organizations, Community Service Clubs, Social Clubs
• Qualifications
• Minimum 8–10 years of hotel sales experience, with strong background in group sales, SMERF preferred
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals
• Experience in one or more of the assigned segments preferred
• Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in sales systems preferred (Opera, Proposal Path, or similar), Microsoft Office and Excel

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
