About the Company
GPPS – Global Printing Packing Shipping is a Business Center and Ship Center Operator in the hospitality industry. We provide professional printing, packing, and shipping services inside major hotel and casino properties. We are currently seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Assistant Manager Trainee to join our Las Vegas team.

This is a customer-facing role in a fast-paced hotel environment. Ideal candidates are organized, flexible, computer-savvy, and committed to delivering outstanding service.

Position Type

Full-Time: 32–35+ hours per week

Schedule: (Tentative and subject to change)

  • Weekdays: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Weekends: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Key-holder – Hours above may vary - Must be available to open and close operations as needed. Convention or Hotel Guests may require flexible hours outside normal business listed above.
  • Weekend and holiday availability may be required

Required Qualifications

  • Proven attendance reliability
  • Strong communication and responsiveness
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Computer proficiency required:

– MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
– Internet and cloud-based applications

  • Typing, data entry, and POS experience
  • Reliable transportation (must perform USPS/FedEx/UPS drop-offs and pickups)
  • Ability to multitask and work independently
  • Professional appearance and demeanor

Preferred Experience

  • Shipping/packing (FedEx, UPS, USPS)
  • Printing and copying services
  • Administrative or office management
  • Convention services or hotel operations
  • Graphic design experience (a plus, not required)
  • Mail room or shipping center experience

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide superior guest service
  • Process shipping and receiving
  • Pack and prepare shipments
  • Operate copy/print equipment
  • Assist with convention and event services
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer and company data
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly administrative reporting
  • Handle guest concerns calmly and professionally
  • Maintain a clean and professional workspace
  • Follow company procedures and hotel standards
  • Assist with event and logistics coordination

Physical Requirements

  • Stand for extended periods
  • Walk long distances within hotel property
  • Lift and transport packages up to 100 lbs
  • Operate office equipment and manual pallet jacks
  • Type 25+ WPM
  • Work in fast-paced, temperature-variable environments

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • One year of guest service or retail experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal English communication
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments
  • Team-oriented with strong work ethic
