- Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day rooms division operations, ensuring all guest rooms and public spaces meet our historic property's high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
- Financial Administration: Work closely with the bookkeeping department to ensure accurate night audit reporting, "City Ledger" transfers, and guest billing resolution. Monitor departmental expenses to maintain budget integrity.
- Guest Relations: Serve as the primary point of escalation for guest concerns, ensuring a resolution that maintains the Inn’s reputation for excellence.
- Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise front desk and housekeeping teams. Foster a culture of professional development and accountability.
- Systems Management: Maintain proficiency in property management systems (RoomMaster) and integrated payment processing to ensure efficient check-in/out and accurate financial data capture.
- Event Synergy: Collaborate with the Banquet and Restaurant managers to ensure overnight guests associated with weddings and corporate retreats receive seamless service. Take on all Group Bookings and Event Hotel Blocks.
- Scheduling of front desk staff
- Supervising Grab and go breakfast
- Supervising Expedia/Bookings/all hotel revenue sources to be up to date and logged properly
- On call for hotel issues
- Maintenance: Working closely with Maintenance personnel- supervising ticketing and all jobs are done when needed
