Hotel Support

Scribner’s Catskill Lodge is looking to add Hotel Support to our team! This role can be seasonal or year-round based on employee preference. Part-time and full-time roles are available. No prior experience required.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Hotel Support is an essential role supporting the guest services and housekeeping teams, ensuring the property remains clean and guest requests are completed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Communicate with the Rooms Team on the daily priority of tasks and projects that need to be completed
• Stock guest amenities and place standard and special requested items in guest rooms
• Receive, unpack and organize deliveries
• Clean and organize public areas throughout the day
• Upkeep and clear hotel entrances and walkways, remove litter throughout the grounds
• Ensure fires are lit at designated times
• Assist with guest experiences including such duties such as monitoring Glice rink and pool, and sauna prep
• Assist with Rooms maintenance needs including stacking firewood, changing light bulbs, clearing pop-up drains in sinks, changing fireplace remote batteries, tightening toilet seats, etc.
• Proactively plan ahead for spaces that will be need to be clean and used, including having an awareness of the programming and events calendar and needs that correspond with it
• Lead Guest Shuttle operations including special group transportation requests, ongoing guest shuttle schedule and keeping shuttle clean, fueled and communicating any shuttle maintenance needs
• Ability to work inside and outside and lift 50 lbs.
• Perform additional duties as requested or assigned by Rooms Leadership

Founded in 2015, Escape Hospitality creates and operates hospitality venues in the Catskills Region focused on design and culinary experiences that draw from the local area. Following its first property, Scribner’s Catskill Lodge and its in-house Prospect Restaurant, Escape Hospitality opened Fellow Mountain Cafe less than 1-mile away.
