Hotel Reservation Agent (Opera Experience Required) –

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Hotel Reservation Agent with hands-on experience using Opera PMS/Opera Cloud. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing hotel reservations, assisting guests with booking inquiries, and ensuring accurate reservation records while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming reservation requests via phone, email, and online booking channels.
  • Process, modify, and cancel reservations accurately using Opera PMS/Opera Cloud.
  • Provide guests with information regarding room availability, rates, hotel facilities, and services.
  • Ensure all reservation details are entered correctly and updated in the system.
  • Coordinate with Front Office, Sales, and Revenue teams to maximize occupancy and revenue.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries and special requests.
  • Maintain accurate guest records and reservation files.
  • Assist in resolving booking discrepancies and guest concerns professionally.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and service standards.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Hotel Reservation Agent or in a similar hospitality role.
  • Proficiency in Opera PMS and/or Opera Cloud is mandatory.
  • Very good command of English (written and spoken).
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in hotels, hospitality, or travel industries.
