Wage: $15.00 per hour

Variable hours up to 25 hours per week

Candidates possessing a Class B CDL upon hire will be eligible for an additional $0.50/hour

Start and end dates are negotiable

Positions anticipated to be filled approximately mid-May through December

Job Summary

Under immediate supervision, assists with tree trimming and removal, brush chipping, tree

planting, mulching and watering in rights-of-way, parks and all City property. Performs tasks

associated with forestry, horticultural, snow removal and general labor work. Operates

chainsaws, power pole pruners, hand pruners, brush chippers, dump trucks and other

specialized equipment. Performs other duties and operates other equipment as required.

Minimum Qualifications

Ability to perform physically demanding and repetitive work under all weather conditions. Ability

to maintain an assigned schedule. Ability to operate trucks and equipment essential for daily

assignments. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to positively interact

with the public, coworkers and staff. Valid drivers license with a satisfactory driving record. Valid
