Job Title: Housekeeping and Facility Manager

Key Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (BBA) . A Master's in Business Administration (MBA)
  • Experience: 2 to 5 years of proven experience in housekeeping management, facilities management, or a related operational leadership role. Key Responsibilities:-

1. Strategic Leadership & Financial Management:

  • Develop, manage, and adhere to annual operating budgets for the housekeeping and facility departments.
  • Utilize financial acumen to perform cost-benefit analysis for vendor contracts, capital projects, and supply purchases.
  • Implement and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on departmental performance, budgets, and project status to senior management.

2. Housekeeping Operations:

  • Lead, train, schedule, and motivate the housekeeping team to achieve the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
  • Develop and enforce detailed cleaning protocols, checklists, and quality assurance programs.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities, ensuring optimal stock levels and cost control.
  • Conduct regular inspections of all areas (guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house) to ensure compliance with brand and company standards.
  • Handle guest or client feedback related to housekeeping promptly and professionally.

3. Facility Management & Maintenance:

  • Oversee the preventive maintenance program for all building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers for specialized repairs and projects.
  • Ensure the facility complies with all local, state, and federal health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Coordinate and manage small-scale renovation and improvement projects from conception to completion.
  • Respond to and manage emergency maintenance requests efficiently.

4. Team Management & Development:

  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance work culture.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify training and development opportunities for staff.
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard new team members as needed.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong Business & Financial Acumen: Ability to manage P&L, budgets, and analyze financial data.
  • Leadership & People Management: Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop a diverse team.
  • Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Excellent judgment and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for interacting with staff, management, and vendors.
  • Organizational & Time Management: Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and facility management software (CMMS).
