About the Role
We are seeking a dependable, organized, and trustworthy House Manager / Nanny / Personal Assistant to help manage the day-to-day needs of a busy household. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys children, takes initiative, keeps things running smoothly, and can balance childcare, household organization, errands, scheduling, and administrative support.
The ideal candidate is warm, professional, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
Key ResponsibilitiesChildcare / Nanny Duties
- Provide attentive, safe, and nurturing care for children
- Assist with after-school routines
- Prepare simple meals and snacks for children
- Help with reading, activities, and age-appropriate learning
- Transport children to and from school, appointments, activities, and events
- Maintain children’s schedules, belongings, rooms, play areas, and laundry
- Communicate regularly regarding children’s needs, behavior, and schedule changes
House Manager Duties
- Keep the household organized, clean, and running efficiently
- Manage household calendars, appointments, schedules, and reminders
- Maintain household supplies, groceries, toiletries, cleaning products, and other essentials
- Handle light housekeeping and daily tidying of common areas
- Organize closets, pantry, children’s items, household paperwork, and storage areas
- Assist with laundry, dishes, meal prep, and general household reset
Personal Assistant Duties
- Run errands, including groceries, dry cleaning, returns, post office, pharmacy, and other household needs
- Assist with scheduling appointments, reservations, travel, and family logistics
- Manage small administrative tasks, emails, forms, payments, and household documents
- Help plan family events, birthdays, holidays, and special occasions
- Support parents with daily priorities and task management
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a nanny, house manager, personal assistant, family assistant, or similar role preferred
- Experience caring for children
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and provide references
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred, or willingness to obtain
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable with light housekeeping, errands, and household management
- Trustworthy, discreet, patient, and dependable
- Comfortable around pets, if applicable
