Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate House Manager to oversee the daily operations of a residential care facility dedicated to supporting seniors and individuals with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the residence, ensuring smooth functioning and compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Supervise and support staff, including caregivers, nurses, and administrative personnel, fostering a positive team environment.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans for residents with diverse needs such as dementia, Alzheimer's, or developmental disabilities.
- Manage budgets, oversee financial planning, and ensure efficient resource allocation for optimal resident care.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to administer medications safely and accurately according to prescribed care plans.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including infection control, emergency procedures, and medication administration standards.
- Foster strong relationships with residents’ families and community partners to promote transparency and collaborative care.
- Lead efforts in quality assurance, staff training, and continuous improvement initiatives to elevate the standard of care provided.
Experience
- Proven management experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group homes with a focus on senior or long-term care.
- Extensive working knowledge of dementia care, memory support programs, and Alzheimer’s disease management.
- Demonstrated supervisory skills with experience leading multidisciplinary teams in home & community care settings.
- Strong background in developing and managing care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
- Familiarity with operational management including budgeting, financial acumen, and resource planning within retirement or long-term care environments.
- Experience in medication administration protocols and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
