We’re Hiring: House Manager + PA | Emirates Hills, Dubai
We are seeking a House Manager & PA for a high-profile family based in Emirates Hills. This role requires a mature, responsible, highly organised, and hands-on individual who can efficiently manage and coordinate all aspects of a private household.
Key Responsibilities
Household Operations & Maintenance
- Strong understanding of managing high-end household equipment
- Vendors / service suppliers and contracts are in place for all equipment; role requires monitoring and ensuring annual maintenance is completed within timelines and as per household requirements
- Cataloguing all maintenance contracts and service providers so that in emergencies, call-outs are resolved immediately
- Ongoing oversight and maintenance of all household equipment and systems
Staff & Scheduling Management
- Staff holiday roster management, coordinating with office staff for staff leave and travel bookings
- When the family travels, ensuring holidays of all staff are managed so they take time off and maintain maximum efficiency when the family is in residence
- Coordinating driver movements as per set schedules and family plans; managing last-minute changes with careful double-checking of all aspects
- Maintaining structured and efficient staff rota and schedules
Household Coordination
- Coordinating with house staff and chef for all household everyday goods
- Managing procurement and ordering of all required items (in-store or online)
- Ensuring all dry cleaning going out and coming back is properly documented so nothing goes missing
Family & Personal Coordination
- Managing and maintaining calendars for all children’s schedules
- Liaising with schools for coordination, updates, and requirements
- Managing all personal travel arrangements for the family, including planning, bookings, and coordination
Events & Hospitality
- Being present during family events or dinner evenings
- Should be adept at understanding and coordinating service requirements for parties, and must be willing to assist and provide service personally when required
General Household Oversight
- Cleaning / management of the family fridge, ensuring expired items are removed
- Coffee machine cleaning and upkeep
- Will need to undergo a short barista training program to learn how to make different kinds of coffees
Candidate Profile
- Male candidate with a valid UAE driver’s license (required to drive for household or family needs on a need basis)
- Ideally 34/35+ years of age
- Candidate should be married (family man)
- Must have prior experience handling similar responsibilities in a private household environment
- Must be highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
- Must be comfortable using AI tools and digital systems to manage schedules, coordination, and household operations
Working Conditions
- Live-in or live-out (nearby residence will be arranged if required)
- Working hours: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Working hours: as per household requirements
- Work schedule: 6 days a week (weekday off to be decided, as weekends are key family time at home)
- 2 days off per month
Benefits
- One travel paid for every two years to home country
- Standard days off per year (as per UAE rules)
