Overview:
House Supervisor - Trauma Nurse Coordinator
Part-Time; Weekend Package; Fri/Sat/Sun 3-11:30
The House Supervisor/Trauma Nurse Coordinator is a Registered Nurse who provides operational leadership for hospital services while overseeing the trauma program at Grundy County Memorial Hospital (GCMH). In this dual role, the individual serves as the hospital’s administrative representative during assigned shifts, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care through coordination, supervision, and support of clinical teams, including direct charge nurse responsibilities in the Emergency Department.
As Trauma Nurse Coordinator, this role directs the coordination of trauma patient throughput in and out of the emergency department, ensures compliance with trauma program standards, and oversees timely and accurate data submission. The House Supervisor/Trauma Nurse Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for the GCMH trauma program—representing the hospital to outside agencies, regulatory bodies, and the community—while fostering strong partnerships that support excellence in trauma care.
