Personal Assistant / Nanny (Full-Time Preferred)

Location: Staunton, Virginia
Compensation: Starting at $25 hourly, may increase based on experience & availability

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and caring Household Assistant / Nanny to support our household and provide care for a pre-teen child. This role is ideal for someone who is responsible, tech-savvy, and comfortable in a pet-friendly home. While this is not typically a live-in role, occasional live-in availability is required for 1-2 weeks at a time due to parent's travel schedules.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage with a pre-teen in a safe, supportive, and age-appropriate manner
• Assist with daily routines, scheduling, and activities
• Provide transportation for the child; including school drop off/pick up and run errands as needed
• Support household organization and personal assistant tasks
• Travel or stay in the home during travel schedules when required
• Maintain clear communication and professionalism at all times
• Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment

Experience / Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children (pre-teen experience preferred)
• Comfortable in a pet-friendly home/taking care of multiple animals; no pet allergies
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Non-smoker
• Reliable, flexible, and trustworthy
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including occasional live-in periods
• College degree or currently enrolled college student
• Tech-savvy (comfortable using smartphones, apps, and basic household technology)
• Previous nanny or personal assistant experience

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time preferred; part-time compensation will be discussed
• Full time salary range: Starting pay $25 hourly, compensation will be discussed based on experience and availability
• Benefits offered for full-time
