Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HHG Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating transportation logistics, ensuring timely delivery of goods, and maintaining effective communication between drivers and clients. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Coordinate and schedule shipments, ensuring timely dispatch of vehicles.
• Find loads and drivers
• Utilize GPS technology to track vehicle locations and optimize routes.
• Maintain accurate records of shipping and receiving activities.
• Perform data entry tasks related to transportation planning and dispatching.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and suppliers via phone systems.
• Monitor supply chain processes to ensure compliance with company policies.
• Address any issues that arise during the transportation process promptly.

Experience

• 2 years + Previous experience in HHG dispatching is required.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is advantageous.
• Proficiency in data entry and using various phone systems is required.
• Experience with GPS technology for route optimization is a plus.
• Knowledge of supply chain management principles will be beneficial.
• Candidates should possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Pay is based on driver performance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
