Household Manager / Family Assistant (Full-Time) – Queen Anne, Seattle

$35–$40+/hr ($72k - $83k/ year) | 40 hrs/week | Start ASAP

Professional Queen Anne family seeking a reliable, experienced Household Manager / Family Assistant to support a busy home with three boys (ages 10, 12, 14) and three exotic birds. This is a long-term, stable role for someone who enjoys tweens and household management.

Every other week kids will not be in home and role will include home management only for two working professionals.

Schedule

• On-weeks (kids in home): Flexible afternoon-evening hrs (e.g. 12 PM - 8 PM or 1 PM - 9 PM)
• Off-weeks (kids not in home): Flexible daytime hours (e.g., 9 AM – 5 PM)
• Guaranteed 40 hours/week (consistent pay)

Pay & Benefits

• $35–$40+/hr DOE ($72k–$83k/year)
• 2 weeks paid vacation
• Dedicated car provided for work use
• Potential future live-in option (private DADU)

Responsibilities

• School pick-ups/drop-offs & driving to activities
• Simple food prep and possible dinner support
• Household errands, groceries, and organization and inventory
• Vendor coordination & home projects
• Light tidying (not deep cleaning)
• Care for 3 exotic birds (feeding, cleaning, supervising out-of-cage time, occasional vet visits)
• Occasional visits to take care of vacation home in Leavenworth on weeks when children are not in home (family car provided)

Requirements

• Prior household manager / family assistant experience
• Strong organization and reliability
• DMV screening must have good driving record

Highly preferred:

• Experience managing severe food allergies (EpiPen awareness) as well as pet allergies
