Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, professional, and proactive Household Manager / Family Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced executive household. This is a family of 2 with a puppy.
This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and able to anticipate needs several steps ahead. The ideal candidate is seeking to grow within this field and build a long-term career supporting high-functioning or executive households.
Key ResponsibilitiesHousehold Management (Primary Focus)
- Grocery shopping, meal prep, and kitchen management
- Laundry and wardrobe organization
- Daily tidying and maintaining a consistently organized home
- Managing household inventory and proactively restocking supplies
- Running errands (returns, shopping, appointments, etc.)
Family Support
- School drop-off and/or pickup and structured after-school support for child activities
- Assisting with care for a young puppy (feeding, walks, reinforcing routine), taking to day care, socialization, etc. as needed
Household Operations & Coordination
- Coordinating closely with executive assistant on scheduling, travel, and priorities
- Managing household vendors (cleaners, maintenance, deliveries, dog walkers, etc.)
- Scheduling and confirming activities (e.g., swim lessons, sports, appointments)
- Preparing for travel (packing, organizing, retrieving items, managing checklists)
- Monitoring and responding to time-sensitive requests throughout the day
Lifestyle & Project Support
- Sourcing and purchasing household items (e.g., furniture, décor, supplies) as instructed
- Personal shopping (clothing, returns, exchanges, outfitting as directed)
- Supporting home projects (e.g., organizing spaces, setting up functional areas such as a porch or storage systems) as instructed
Ideal Candidate
- 2–3 years of experience in a similar role (household manager, family assistant, or high-level nanny)
- Professional, polished, and highly dependable
- Tech-savvy (comfortable with text, scheduling apps, online ordering, coordination)
- Strong communicator; English required, Spanish preferred
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proactive and able to anticipate needs without direction
- Calm under pressure and able to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable with children and dogs
This role is ideal for someone looking to grow into supporting larger or more complex households over time or executive assistant level work.
Compensation

Example Week (Detailed & Illustrative)Monday
- 8:00 AM arrival, prepare child for school, pack lunch, school drop-off, assess refrigerator, stocked items, take puppy out for walk
- Grocery shop, run errands, return home, restock kitchen
- Start and manage laundry (wash, fold, put away), select items to donate, list new items to buy if needed
- Walk and feed puppy, reinforce routine
- Text swim instructor to confirm weekend lesson
- Prep simple dinner for evening
- 12:00 PM Reset home before departure
Tuesday
- Morning home reset and organization (closets, kitchen, high-traffic areas)
- Run errands (returns, dry cleaning, household supplies)
- Research and purchase porch furniture (measure space, order items, coordinate delivery)
- Communicate with executive assistant on upcoming needs
- Puppy walk and play
- Light meal prep
Wednesday
- Morning school drop-off
- Midday: organize wardrobe, assess clothing needs, purchase or exchange items as directed
- Coordinate with cleaner or maintenance for scheduled visit
- Afternoon school pickup and after-school support
- Prep dinner and reset home
Thursday
- Receive direction from executive assistant regarding upcoming travel; book hair appointment; book veterinary appointment
- Pack luggage (outfits, toiletries, required items)
- Check mail for specific documents or packages
- Run targeted errands (specific store purchases, last-minute needs)
- Put away messes, water the plants, make the beds, create and send birthday invitation for child
- Puppy care
Friday
- Morning school support (if applicable)
- Full home reset (kitchen, living areas, laundry completion)
- Confirm weekend schedule (activities, lessons, logistics)
- Grocery refresh if needed
- Prep simple meal
- Ensure home is fully set up for weekend
