Household Manager/Nanny – Uptown Hoboken

Warm, busy Hoboken family seeking a proactive, organized household manager/nanny to help keep the home running smoothly and assist with before- and after-school care for four kids (infant coming in July, 1-year-old, 4.5-year-old, and 7-year-old). Older boys will be in school from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with after-school activities in afternoons and the little ones will be in full-day daycare until around 5 p.m. The ideal work schedule is 3 days a week from 7 a.m. to 6/6:30 p.m. and 2 days a week from 12:30/1 p.m. to 6/6:30 p.m., guaranteeing 45 hours a week. The ideal candidate is flexible to adjust hours and work full days if the kids are off school or sick. Start date mid-June.

Responsibilities while kids are at school include children’s laundry (wash, fold, put away), dishwasher/kitchen reset, errands and groceries, light meal prep or assisting with simple dinners, organizing living spaces, and keeping household supplies stocked (a weekly housekeeper handles deep cleaning).

After school, responsibilities include pickups, helping kids transition home (snacks, homework, reading, activities), playground or sports outings, and assisting with evening routine including bedtime support. Looking for someone calm, reliable, and proactive who enjoys creating structure in a busy household and is interested in a long-term role. $30-35/hr depending on experience plus paid vacation, holidays, + sick time.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
