Housekeeper

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order within our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service in line with hospitality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing all areas of the facility.
• Maintain cleanliness of guest rooms, common areas, restrooms, and other designated spaces.
• Manage floor care duties such as sweeping, buffing, and waxing floors as needed.
• Conduct industrial cleaning tasks for larger areas or specialized equipment following safety protocols.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored; report any shortages or maintenance needs.
• Follow housekeeping management protocols to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing custodial duties.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns related to housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred; experience in hospitality settings such as hotels is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals used in floor care and industrial cleaning.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
