Housekeeper

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces regularly.
• Handle laundry duties efficiently by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels according to hotel standards.
• Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, and supplies in guest rooms and public areas to enhance guest comfort.
• Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold facility standards.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to janitorial and industrial cleaning practices.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles within hospitality or industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning.
• Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures and hospitality industry standards.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality service delivery.
• Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks throughout shifts.
