ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: • Portray a positive company image and engage in professional and friendly communications with all clients and prospects • Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization • Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, cafeteria and other work areas in accordance with Company specifications • Change resident bedding as needed or as instructed by nursing staff. • Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies, using vacuum cleaners and/or other related appliances • Empty wastebaskets and dispose of trash and waste in designated areas • Provides excellent customer service • Performs other duties, as assigned • Completes work assignments in a timely manner. • Utilizes the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure. • Reports safety hazards as appropriate.
- Transports trash and hazardous waste to appropriate disposal area. • Replenishes supplies. • Follows all infection control practices including hand washing techniques, Standard Precautions and isolation precautions. • Observes safety precautions at all times.
