Housekeeper

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and help create a welcoming, clean, and comfortable environment for our guests and staff. Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, and restocking supplies
• Handle laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently
• Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment for various surfaces while adhering to safety protocols
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly to ensure swift resolution
• Follow established procedures for waste disposal and recycling to promote eco-friendly practices
• Assist with inventory management by tracking cleaning supplies and requesting replenishments as needed

Requirements

• Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles within hospitality settings or similar environments is highly preferred
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning, polishing, and stripping floors
• Familiarity with hotel housekeeping standards and procedures is a plus
• Strong understanding of hospitality principles with a focus on guest satisfaction
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as vacuums, buffers, and steam cleaners safely and effectively
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under time constraints
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including bending, lifting, standing for extended periods, and moving heavy items when necessary
