Hours, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
Hermitage Hall is one of Middle Tennessee's largest stand-alone psychiatric residential treatment Hospitals. Licensed by Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services as a mental health residential treatment center for children and youth, Hermitage Hall has provided services to families for over 30 years. Located southwest of downtown Nashville, off I-65 at the Wedgewood exit, away from the congestion of downtown Nashville, our team of over 130 high quality employees describe working here as family oriented, therapeutic, value clarifying. Our nurses, mental health assistants, psychiatrist, and therapist serve hundreds of children and adolescents annually, with the common goal of treating and healing trauma and building resiliency in children and adolescents.
Job Summary:
The Housekeeper is responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of Hermitage Hall buildings. Cleans offices, staff bathrooms, administrative and any other area where needed. Supervises and instructs residents in the proper method and degree of cleaning, inspects and insures cleanliness of units and common areas. May supervise the resident work crew in the cleaning of the common areas of the building and grounds as well as special projects. Must be able to work in a team with other housekeeping employees.
Job Responsibilities and Duties

Sweeps and mops floors in applicable offices and hallways.

Strips, waxes, buffs, and mop floors.

Cleans bathrooms, bedrooms, offices, and other areas.

Maintain outside and inside ground areas.

Supply and collection of linen and towels for residents.

Follows and abides by company policies, procedures, and corporate compliance program, as applicable to role and responsibilities

Perform all other duties as assigned.

High School or equivalent diploma required

Minimum of one years experience required

Experience working in a hospital, nursing homes, school cafeteria or mental health facilities preferred

Valid TN driver's license

Must be at 21 years old

Must be able to complete a mandatory, paid two-week new hire orientation M-F, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
