Housekeeper

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness across various facilities, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and experience in cleaning and custodial services. Prior experience in hospitality, hotel housekeeping, janitorial work, or industrial cleaning is highly valued. The Housekeeper will play a vital role in upholding the high standards of cleanliness and comfort that our organization prides itself on.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces according to established standards
• Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and floor care procedures
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and amenities to ensure guest satisfaction
• Handle laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained properly
• Follow safety protocols related to chemical handling and equipment operation
• Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
• Adhere to health and safety regulations to provide a safe environment for guests and staff

Requirements

• Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services; hotel or hospitality experience is preferred
• Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Prior experience in housekeeping management is a plus but not required
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene standards at all times

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
