Job Summary:
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors. This position performs routine cleaning duties throughout the facility while following infection control standards and facility policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas according to facility cleaning schedules.

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust assigned areas.

• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, sinks, toilets, and shower areas.

• Empty trash and replace liners in resident rooms and facility areas.

• Replenish paper towels, soap, toilet paper, and other supplies as needed.

• Follow proper infection control procedures when cleaning resident areas.

• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.

• Follow proper chemical handling and safety guidelines when using cleaning products.

• Maintain cleaning carts and equipment in a clean and organized manner.

• Provide courteous and respectful service to residents, staff, and visitors.
