Housekeeper

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our 22 tiny homes, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and a strong work ethic are highly valued. Experience in hospitality or janitorial is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate. The Housekeeper plays a vital role in upholding the high standards of cleanliness and comfort that our organization is known for.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
• Maintain floor care through sweeping, polishing, and carpet cleaning as needed
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and amenities to ensure availability for guests
• Follow established safety procedures and use proper cleaning techniques to prevent accidents or damage
• Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management promptly
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
• Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as required
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while interacting with guests and team members

Qualifications

• Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
• Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial or hotel cleaning standards is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team
• Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities
• Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Familiarity with custodial equipment and cleaning supplies is a plus
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction
• Must be able to use a phone app for team communications
