Housekeeper

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests or residents. Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and other designated spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness by dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
• Care for floors through sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, or polishing as needed
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials to ensure readiness for guest needs
• Follow safety procedures during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries
• Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties to management
• Adhere to established protocols for industrial cleaning or specialized janitorial tasks when required
• Ensure all assigned areas meet cleanliness standards before completing shifts

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, hotel housekeeping, or related fields is advantageous
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including stripping, waxing, and polishing floors
• Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and janitorial procedures is preferred
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
