Housekeeper

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of living spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and supplies.
• Manage laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet cleaning, and floor care procedures to ensure safety and hygiene.
• Sanitize surfaces regularly to uphold sanitation standards and prevent the spread of germs.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ needs promptly and professionally.
• Assist with meal preparation or light cooking tasks when required to enhance comfort and convenience.
• Follow established custodial procedures for commercial or residential cleaning projects while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in housekeeping, janitorial work, or related roles; hotel experience is a plus.
• Strong skills in cleaning techniques, including floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation practices.
• Ability to handle laundry tasks efficiently and manage household or facility supplies responsibly.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment operation, and safety standards.
• Previous experience in residential cleaning or custodial roles preferred; experience with commercial cleaning is advantageous.
