Job Title: Housekeeper – Nursing Home

Location: Legacy Health & Rehab, Manchester, TN

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our nursing home team. The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. This role is essential to ensuring a safe and welcoming facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, dining areas, offices, and common spaces
• Dust, mop, vacuum, sweep, and polish floors and surfaces
• Empty trash and dispose of waste according to facility procedures
• Replenish cleaning supplies, toiletries, and linens as needed
• Follow infection control and safety guidelines at all times
• Respond promptly to housekeeping requests from residents or staff
• Report maintenance issues, hazards, or damaged equipment
• Assist with laundry duties as needed
• Maintain professionalism and respect when interacting with residents and families

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred (healthcare or long-term care experience a plus)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to lift, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods
• Compassionate and respectful attitude toward elderly residents
• Must pass background check and any required screenings
