Housekeeper

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in guest rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces. This role is essential in providing a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are consistently met. Prior experience in hospitality, janitorial, or custodial services is highly valued, though training will be provided for the right candidate. Duties

• Clean and disinfect guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards
• Perform floor care including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning
• Change linens, make beds, and replace amenities as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of public spaces such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use
• Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
• Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe environment for all staff and guests

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or hospitality environments is preferred
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality standards
• Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods and custodial practices is a plus
• Experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is advantageous but not required
• Strong organizational skills to manage time effectively across multiple tasks
