Housekeeper

This position is a seasonal position, and includes weekends, and holidays. It is for the duration of the golf season. Our golf season is March through October.

Tips pulled daily and are distributed in cash to all staff based upon hours worked the previous week.

This job is perfect for a dependable person with a positive attitude, and who is looking to work 20-25 hours a week. Hours are based on occupancy. Our goal is to offer a spotless room for our guests at a 48-room hotel. This position is daytime hours, and must be able to work all days of the week with rotating days off. Holidays and weekends are a must.

Duties Include:

• Cleaning and sanitizing bathroom
• Dusting furniture and fixtures
• Making beds and changing linens
• Washing windows
• Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and floors and carpets
• Using any cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other cleaning tools
• Keeping bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies
• Cleaning mirrors and other glass surfaces
• Tidying up rooms
• Monitoring cleaning supplies and stocking cleaning cart
• Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Standing, bending, lifting, twisting, squatting are necessary functions of the position
• Training new employees
• Assisting in laundry when necessary
• Working as a team

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Cleaning Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
