Housekeeper - Assisted Living and Memory Care

Colonial Court Assisted Living and Memory Care provides a warm and welcoming environment for our residents and team members. Our mission is to deliver exceptional care and foster a clean, safe, and comfortable home-like atmosphere for everyone. As a Housekeeper, you play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our community.

Responsibilities:

• Resident Apartment Cleaning:
• Clean studio apartments on a weekly basis, ensuring a tidy and sanitary living environment. Average of 8 studio apartments per day. Average time 20 - 30 minutes per apartment.
• Daily Common Area Cleaning:
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of common areas, including lounges, dining spaces, hallways, and restrooms.
• Empty trash, vacuum, dust, mop, and sanitize as needed to uphold a high standard of cleanliness.
• Collaboration & Communication:
• Coordinate with staff to ensure cleaning schedules align with resident needs and activities.
• Report any maintenance concerns or safety hazards promptly to the appropriate team members.
• Compliance & Safety:
• Follow all infection control and safety protocols.
• Use cleaning products and equipment according to provided instructions to ensure safety for residents and staff.

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping or custodial experience required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks in a timely manner, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to be self-directed with little to no oversight.
• Friendly, professional demeanor and the ability to interact positively with residents, families, and staff.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and respecting the privacy of residents.
