Housekeeper - DoubleTree Orlando East

Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented housekeepers to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness. We operate 365 days a year, holiday and weekend availability is required.

Must be available on Saturdays and Sundays, including holidays

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities according to established standards.
• Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to ensure cleanliness.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other areas as required.
• Manage laundry services including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures while performing cleaning tasks.
• Assist in special projects or deep cleaning tasks as assigned.

Experience

• Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services is required.
• Familiarity with hospitality standards and practices is a plus.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is advantageous.
• Experience in hotel or similar environments is beneficial.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
