Housekeeper for Airbnb Rentals - Milwaukee

*NOTE: residential cleaning experience is required and housekeeping experience is strongly preferred. Applicants without cleaning experience will be denied.

About Flexhome:

We rent fully furnished apartments to guests on a short-term basis - from a few nights to a few months and everything in between. Our apartments are located across the downtown Milwaukee area near Fiserv Forum, the East Side, and other downtown areas.

As a Turnover Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that Flexhomes are consistently cleaned, stocked, and staged for incoming guests.

Job Type:

• Contracted role on part-time basis; must be available from 11am-4pm at least 4 days a week

Job responsibilities:

• Clean and disinfect surfaces, floors, dishes, furnishings, and other household items
• Change bed sheets, towels, and other linens
• Launder bed sheets, towels, and other linens. NOTE: **If no on-site machines are available, cleaner is responsible for cost of using personal machines, laundromat, etc.**
• Restock supplies and stage furniture to restore each apartment to its guest-ready state
• Identify repairs & maintenance issues and report these needs to management
• Perform basic maintenance tasks like changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and replacing air filters
• Use smartphone to promptly and clearly communicate with the team throughout the work day

Compensation:

• Flat rate: $25 for one-bedroom apartments and $30 for two-bedroom apartments
• Avg. turnover takes 45-60 minutes
• Experienced cleaners can complete 3-4 turnovers/day
• Equipment and supplies are provided
• A $100 deposit is held from each of the first two paychecks (total $200 deposit). Deposit to be returned to contractor upon discontinuation of services but only if contractor completes at least 90 days of satisfactory work, returns all company equipment, and terminates services in good standing.

Expected workload:

• Avg. 15-20 turnovers per week, plus more work available for high performers

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
