Housekeeper/Cleaning Professional for Apartment Buildings

Hugh Management is looking for an experienced full time Housekeeper/Cleaning Professional located in South Tampa, FL.

At our apartments, our customers live with us and trust us to take great care of their homes inside and out. That’s where you come in! As a Housekeeper/Groundskeeper at Hugh Management, you will be responsible for ensuring our residents have clean high-quality environment for their homes.

Compensation: $16-19/hour + Quarterly Bonus Potential + Benefit Package

Schedule:* Monday through Friday, occasional weekend*

Responsibilities include:

Performs tasks to ensure the overall cleanliness and proper appearance of vacant apartment homes, leasing office, and other amenities to enhance and maintain property appeal.

• Clean apartments before new tenant move-ins ensuring a fresh final product
• Clean the leasing office, common-area amenities
• Blowout/Sweep/Mop/Vacuum hallways, stairwells, laundry rooms on regular rotation
• Picking up debris and pressure wash grounds, courtyards, and sidewalks to maintain pleasant environment for residents
• Cleaning windows on inside of building
• Cleaning walls, baseboards, cabinets, windows, vents, appliances, bathrooms, flooring and light panels.
• Checking for damaged appliances and fixtures.
• Maintaining housekeeping equipment and supplies
• Grounds maintenance (trash removal, pressure washing, etc.)
• Jump in to help with other tasks for move-ins and projects as needed
• Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to meet quality standards consistently.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as needed
• Maintains an appropriate inventory of cleaning supplies, and informs the appropriate supervisor when a re-order is necessary

Job Requirements

• Proven experience in housekeeping, cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services; apartments, hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail, be it inside units, hallways, or outdoors
• Prior apartment make-ready & work-order experience preferred
• Must have own reliable transportation
• Ability to multitask and prioritize duties on a timeline
• Strong team-oriented mindset to get the job done right
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects safely, and perform physical tasks efficiently.

• work in various conditions, including exposure to cleaning chemicals and dusty environments
• push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to fifty (50) pounds

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
