Job Summary for Room Attendant
To maintain a clean and appealing guest room according to policy standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
General
1. Clean all rooms on inspection sheet
2. Change bed linen daily.
3. Vacuum carpeting.
4. Dust all furniture (picture frames, bed frames, lamps, TVs, dressers).
5. Remove fingerprints and smudges (ex. mirrors, shiny surfaces, windows, etc).
6. Thoroughly clean the bathroom area - wash shower stall, sink, floor, toilet, etc.
7. Report immediately all damage found in a room.
8. Notify Executive Housekeeper of all roll-aways or cribs in rooms for pick-up and storage.
9. Take responsibility for room key including signing out and returning.
10.Turn in immediately all "lost and found" items to Executive Housekeeper.
11.Report immediately to the Executive Housekeeper anything unusual.
12. Leave lights, air conditioner, and television settings as they were upon entry for occupied rooms. Leave lights off and AC @ 75 degrees in vacant rooms
13.Complete daily special project focus in each assigned room.
14.Complete vacuuming of hallway in front of assigned section
15.Assist Executive Housekeeper in any additional cleaning chores that may be assigned.
16. Load individual housekeeping cart with supplies, linen and terry at the end of each work day.
Job Summary for Laundry Attendant
To ensure that all areas of the hotel and restaurant are kept properly stocked with clean laundry items.
Duties and Responsibilities
General
1. Sorts all linen for washer.
2. Removes stains from badly soiled linen.
3. Operates washers and dryers properly.
4. Folds all linens to hotel standards.
5. Washes bedspreads, bed pads, and blankets per instructions.
6. Keeps laundry area neat and clean.
7. Handles all laundry chemical products properly and advises Executive Housekeeper of inventory levels.
8. Assists Executive Housekeeper in other areas when laundry is slow or work is caught up.

Qualifications
- Experience in cleaning, floor care, and hotel operations
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and practices
- Previous janitorial, industrial cleaning, or custodial experience
- Ability to manage housekeeping tasks efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Certification in housekeeping management is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
