Housekeeper/Laundry Worker

Timberroot Rustic Retreats is a rapidly growing company that operates vacation rentals in multiple states. We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our housekeeping team as a full or part-time Cabin Cleaner at our Wauhatchie Woodlands location in Chattanooga, TN. As a housekeeper, you will be responsible for working across a team to maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of our cabins and ensuring a comfortable and welcoming experience for our guests.

Our Chattanooga properties are located on or near the base of beautiful Lookout Mountain. Our flagship property, Wauhatchie Woodlands boasts 31 lodgings, including 26 tiny cabins, 1 micro cabin, three medium homes and one large home, all located in a beautiful natural setting just ten minutes from downtown Chattanooga. As a member of our housekeeping team, you will play an essential role in ensuring that our guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience during their stay.

Responsibilities for Housekeeping:

· Support the overall team by ensuring that the campus is clean, safe, and properly representing Timberroot standards in delivering an amazing guest experience.

· Clean and prepare cabins for guest arrivals, including changing linens and towels, restocking toiletries, and ensuring all surfaces are dust-free and spotless.

· Complete routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms.

· Conduct regular checks to ensure all cabin equipment and amenities are functioning properly and report any issues to the maintenance team.

· Maintain a safe and hygienic work environment and follow all health and safety procedures.

· Support cleaning manager with various ad-hoc tasks related to the administration or execution of departmental goals.

Responsibilities for Laundry Workers:

· Assist with laundry and inventory management, including washing and folding linens and restocking cleaning supplies.

· Neatly assemble daily bins with freshly folded linens and towels to be delivered to each unit.

· Inspect linens and towels for stains, tears, or imperfections.

· Keep laundry room clean and equipment free of debris.

· Work as part of a team to deliver linens and towels to housekeeping, as needed.

Requirements:

· Commitment to teamwork and a great guest experience.

· Ability to receive and implement constructive feedback and remain flexible in a dynamic environment.

· Prior experience in a similar role preferred, but not required.

· Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

· Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.

· Ability to work flexible hours, including Sundays.

· Availability to work between 9 am to 5 pm for quick turnovers.

· Must be able to pass a background check.

Compensation:

· We offer a competitive hourly wage, commensurate with experience.

· Full-time employees are eligible for voluntary employee paid benefits, which include health, vision, and dental insurance as well as other benefits like 401Ks and PTO. Part-time employees are ineligible.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
