Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming floors, and sanitizing bathrooms to uphold hygiene standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and recreational spaces to ensure a welcoming environment.
• Handle laundry duties efficiently by washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing with care and precision.
• Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to preserve the appearance of all surfaces.
• Follow established cleaning protocols using appropriate supplies and equipment to ensure safety and quality standards are met consistently.
• Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies like toiletries, towels, and cleaning products as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to complete daily tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude that promotes teamwork.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or housekeeping within hospitality or industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet maintenance.
• Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures and standards to deliver exceptional guest service.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on sanitation and cleanliness in all areas of responsibility.
• Good organizational skills for managing laundry loads and maintaining supply inventories.
