The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, orderliness, and overall presentation of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities in a hospitality or residential setting. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing.
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, and other high-touch areas.
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and ensure all guest supplies are replenished.
- Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed to the supervisor.
- Guest Services:
- Provide a high level of service to guests, addressing any special requests or needs.
- Ensure guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness and presentation.
- Respond to guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor and manage cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are well-stocked and in good working condition.
- Inform the supervisor when stock levels are low or additional supplies are needed.
- Health and Safety:
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to safety guidelines and manufacturer instructions.
- Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning tasks and report any issues or completed work as required.
- Follow checklists and procedures to ensure all tasks are completed consistently.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality or cleaning training is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment.
Work Environment:
- This position may require working in various environments including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
- Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays, may be required.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,300.00 per month
