Job Summary
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness and appearance of the hotel to ensure a comfortable, sanitary, and welcoming environment for all guests. This includes cleaning guest rooms, common areas, and other assigned spaces according to company standards.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and tidy all areas to the standard of cleanliness within time limits.
  • Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, respond to their requests and inquiries, and inform others of requests when required.
  • Create daily job lists and record all serviced rooms.
  • Maintain equipment in good condition.
  • Report on any shortages, damages, or security issues
  • Follow hotel procedures for handling lost and found items and report any valuable findings.
  • Check stocking levels of all consumables.
  • Assist guests with luggage, directions, and other requests as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with the front desk, maintenance, and other hotel staff to provide excellent service.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations and act in line with company policies and licensing laws.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred but not required.
  • Proper cleaning techniques, chemical handling, and usage of equipment
  • The ability to effectively communicate verbally.
  • Possess a positive and upbeat personality with a desire to deliver outstanding customer service to our guests.
  • Must be willing and able to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.90 - $17.25 per hour
