Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents. This position requires a strong commitment to sanitation and customer service, with an emphasis on high standards of cleanliness in both residential and commercial settings.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing all areas of the facility.
• Ensure that all guest rooms and common areas are cleaned to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation.
• Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or maintenance issues to management.
• Execute floor care duties such as carpet cleaning, tile maintenance, and other specialized cleaning tasks as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and needs promptly and courteously.
• Assist in laundry services when required, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
• Collaborate with housekeeping management to develop efficient cleaning schedules and protocols.
• Follow safety procedures while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning is preferred; hotel experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and cleaning techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication skills with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends if necessary.
• Previous experience in floor care or carpet cleaning is advantageous but not required.
